I have known Antonino Sicari since his university days and, to be precise, when he was graduating from the Department of Translation and Interpretation at the University of Forlì. His work in writing his dissertation required my cooperation. I was impressed by his seriousness, determination and punctuality in carrying out the research, analysis and exegesis work on the data, together with the desire to explore the subject of his studies, as well as the creativity that he was able to put into a research study that was already very accurate from the scientific point of view, enriching it with interesting ideas and suggestions for a professional like me. His dissertation turned out to be for me a particularly valuable tool for work and reflection. I wanted to be at the presentation of his dissertation as a sign of my sincere appreciation. Antonino has not only been able to further develop these very important relational and professional skills that distinguished him as a student, but also to improve them in his later work as an interpreter and teacher. I hope that you can continue to make your professional contribution in these two fields and in the broader field of communication. Please allow me once again to express all my respect and esteem for you.
